:::Sukhnanda Prajapati, the head of Basaura village in Uttar Pradesh, filed an FIR. The names of the criminals are unknown. They have been accused of killing 20 stray dogs by feeding them poisonous pieces of bread. According to Sukhnanda Prajapati, the count is likely to increase after the investigation is concluded.
All the dogs who died by eating the poisonous slices of bread have been respectfully buried by the residents. :::Shubham, a 23-years young Indian resident, suffered severe burns after Manisha, his girlfriend, threw acid on him. Manisha is the daughter of one of his distant relatives. She reportedly wanted to marry Shubham but he refused as he first wanted to take permission from his family. The case was filed under section 326 (A) of the Indian Penal Code. The section refers to voluntarily causing hurt to someone by using an acid.
Manisha has been arrested by the Police and an investigation is underway.

:::French Police arrested a French climate activist as a part of its investigation that is being conducted to identify many climate activists who have occupied commercial and residential spaces to protest against gentrification of real estate and high-end restaurants.
The climate activist could be arrested after ProtonMail, a Switzerland-based private email service provider, shared his or her IP address. The French Police had submitted a request to the concerned authorities of Switzerland for the same. :::Vodafone-Idea, Vi, was fined ₹27 lakhs by the Rajasthan Government. The fine was imposed concerning the case of the data leak. A customer had applied for a duplicate SIM as his/her previous SIM got damaged. Meanwhile, his/her number was issued to another customer without any verification. The other customer ended up withdrawing ₹68 lakhs from the account of the previous SIM holder as the number was connected to his/her overdraft facility.
The Principal Secretary of Information Technology & Communications has directed Vodafone-Idea to reimburse the amount to the aggrieved party within 30 days.

:::The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the increase in Minimum Support Price of certain raw products. The Minimum Support Price for wheat has now been increased to ₹5,230/- per quintal from ₹5,100/- per quintal. Similarly, the Minimum Support Price for gram has been increased to ₹2,015/- per quintal from ₹1,975/- per quintal. The increased prices apply to the marketing season of 2022-23 intending to encourage crop diversification.
The increased price for all other raw products can be read in the official press release issued by the CCEA. :::Justice Majinder Singh of the Additional District and Sessions Court of Jalandhar denied anticipatory bail to Gurdas Maan, a Punjabi singer. He was booked under section 295 (a) of the Indian Penal Code for hurting the religious sentiments of the Sikh Community.
Gurdas Maan had once claimed that Laddi Shah was a descendant of Amar Das, the third Sikh Guru. The Sikh Community refuted the claim and filed a case against him despite him apologizing for the mistake.

:::Rana Ayyub, a journalist, was booked by Police in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh for allegedly misappropriating funds that she had raised for Covid-19 patients and flood victims. Action against her, however, would only be taken after the investigation has concluded and all the evidence is found against her.
Rana Ayyub has been charged under the relevant sections of the Information Technology Act with criminal breach of trust and cheating by using computer resources. :::The Punjab & Haryana High Court upheld the decision of the Hisar Family Court and granted divorce to a physically challenged man. He had earlier filed a case against his wife for mentally torturing him. The physically challenged man suffers from 50% hearing loss. He has reportedly lost 21 kg weight due to his wife's mental torture. His wife is known for being hot-tempered and picking up a fight with other family members for small things. Both of them married each other in 2012 and now have a daughter.
The wife had earlier filed a case of dowry against the man and his family. Upon investigation, it turned out that the case was false. The man and his family had given the money to her to pursue higher education.

:::The United Arab Emirates (UAE) lifted the ban on the entry of fully vaccinated Indian residents. The has been lifted with a condition that the residents must be vaccinated with a vaccine that has been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). The ban has also been lifted for residents of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Zambia, Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Nigeria, Liberia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
The lifting of the ban has come into effect from September 12, 2021. The rules are subject to change as per the cases and trends in the countries. :::An area of 10 sq. kilometers around the Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura-Vrindavan was declared as a pilgrimage site. The declaration also stated that the sale of liquor and meat would be banned in the pilgrimage site.
The government of Uttar Pradesh had earlier banned the trade of meat and liquor in Mathura.
