:::Microsoft has acquired a content moderation provider, Two Hat.
Two Hat, a 10-years old content moderation company, deploys AI tools to classify billions of interactions and filter them for a better user experience. This includes reviewing images, messages, and usernames, to mention a few.
The company has been working with Microsoft to make the community of Xbox a better place for interaction. The acquisition is expected to enhance the moderation quality of Microsoft's Xbox community while also doing the same for its other consumer services. Dave McCarthy, Head of Xbox product, said that the company would help the global communities to be safer while encouraging participation for a positive contribution.
Microsoft has announced that it will retain all the clients of Two Hat and continue to offer them support.
:::Unlike its predecessors, Assassins Creed Infinity will not be a free-to-play online game.
The news was confirmed by Yves Guillemot, the Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft. Assassins Creed Infinity, an unconfirmed project name, is expected to have multiple narratives, with every character having his or her different background story.
This has spread the message saying that players may end up getting to play multiple stories in just one game. The environment of all the stories will be different as well, depending on what kind of story they carry.
Any new content may come up in the form of a new campaign or a new season at the end of the game. The earliest possible release has tentatively been scheduled for 2024.
That is all for this week.
