Rooted in France, Alcatel V3 is a smartphone line-up that will now be made in India, that is Bharat, for the people of India. The smartphone company had to exit from the space 7 years ago reportedly due to market turbulence, changes in ownership, and a shift in the global supply chain. But, Alcatel V3 is now making a comeback with its line-up launched on May 27, 2025, at 12 PM IST.
The smartphone company has set an initial investment of approximately ₹260 crore to develop a yearly capacity of 1 million units, subject to scale. Alcatel V3 aims to establish itself as one of the top three players in the country in the next three years.
Alcatel V3 Smartphone Features
The actual features of Alcatel V3 will depend on the variant a customer purchases. Some features that stand out are its battery life, paper-display, and SIM options.
SIM options, for one, include physical SIM and eSIM. Customers will have the option to continue using the eSIM or get a separate SIM for the device. eSIM will operate at all places, providing all the necessary services that a traditional physical SIM is expected to provide. The goal is to push for its integration into the device.
The paper-like display is backed by its patented technology called NXTPAPER display. It essentially enables users to read a book on Alcatel V3 as if they are reading a physical book. NXTPAPER comes with four different display modes for a better eye care experience. Continuous reading is likely to run for 7 days on a single charge. The device itself could operate for up to 26 days in stand-by mode.
Stylus is making a comeback as well. Alcatel V3 smartphones are bringing one of the most memorable experiences to customers. Hold the stylus and operate the device as if writing something on it.
A few more features by Alcatel V3 for eye care are a dimmed display, a night-friendly screen, adaptive sunlight mode, and night light mode. The smartphone works on Gemini by Google with FHD+ visuals for anything users want to watch. A 3-camera set-up has been teased at the back including 108MP Ultra Pixel, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro camera. The front side is shown to have just a single 32MP camera.

Alcatel V3 smartphone line-up comes in three variants. These are Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G, Alcatel V3 Pro 5G, and Alcatel V3 Classic 5G. Needless to say, all of them are enabled for 5G operations and are in line with current trends.

The price of Alcatel V3 smartphone line-up ranges from ₹17,999/- to ₹19,999/-. The final price depends on discounts and offers applicable at the time of purchase. The sale of the smartphone line-up is scheduled to commence on June 02, 2025, at 12 PM IST. Storage space is 128GB and RAM goes as high as 16GB.

The Alcatel V3 smartphone line is available on Flipkart. The official website of the company does display the product but the purchasing option redirects customers to the Indian eCommerce website. There is currently no update about the official website itself beginning to sell its 5G smartphone to Indian customers.
