MG entered Bharat with an annual capacity of 80,000 units in September 2017. It gradually expanded this capacity to 110,000–120,000 annual units. The company reportedly launched the country’s first "internet car" by rolling out MG Hector. It now offers MG Hector, MG Gloster, and MG Comet EV, among other models. The latest entrant to the list is MG Majestor.

MG Majestor is available for pre-reservation with exclusive benefits, such as a 5-year unlimited-kilometer warranty and five free labor services. Customers who pre-book the car can also claim five years of roadside assistance along with priority delivery. Now, let’s find out what it really offers customers in terms of features, variants, and price.

MG Majestor Variants and Price

MG Majestor comes in three different variants: Majestor 4x2 6STR Savvy, Majestor 4x2 7STR Savvy, and Majestor 4x4 7STR Savvy. All three variants come in four colors: Black Ash, Black Metal, Concrete Grey, and Pearl White.

Prices are likely to be announced soon; however, given the existing range, it is safe to assume that the price could be more than ₹9.50 lakh ex-showroom. The actual price will depend on the variant, added accessories, taxes, and available offers or discounts.

Features of the MG Majestor

Defined as a "private sanctuary on wheels," MG Majestor comes with a Galaxy View Roof and multi-mode massage and ventilated seats. The interiors are enhanced by a 64-color ambient lighting system, while passengers can relax in 12-way powered seats for ultimate comfort.

The tail lamps are connected, forming an artistic display at the rear. The front sports "Dragon Eye" DRLs with tri-beam lights. Packed with six airbags, MG Majestor offers a high-tensile ladder-frame chassis to strengthen the vehicle's safety.

Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control work in tandem to lower the driver's workload. Another standout feature for the SUV is its IHC (Intelligent Headlamp Control); this function adjusts beam settings to ensure that oncoming drivers are not blinded.

Two more features that are becoming the "talk of the town" are Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control. Hill Hold functions when MG Majestor has to ascend but needs to stop mid-way due to traffic or other reasons. Hill Descent Control, as the name suggests, lets the driver control the car better while descending.

All variants have more or less the same features. Majestor 4x2 6STR Savvy, Majestor 4x2 7STR Savvy, and Majestor 4x4 7STR Savvy all feature four-disc brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Majestor 4x4 7STR Savvy has the edge with four-wheel drive with low range, Deca Terrain Mode, rear-center-front differential locks, and M-Crawl.

Apart from that, all variants of MG Majestor are 5,046 mm in length and 2,016 mm in width. All of them have a fuel tank capacity of 75 liters with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. Even the three-zone auto AC is a common feature across the range.

Their over-speed alert system can be customized, and the live location can be shared and tracked. They feature JioSaavn as an online music app and JioFiber to support the "Home 2 Car" function. MG Majestor also accepts Hinglish voice commands to control car functions, such as the AC and radio.

Conclusion

MG Majestor is in the pre-reservation stage as of the time of writing. The official website allows customers to not only locate the nearest dealer but also compare all three variants easily in a table format. Powered by M-Hub, all off-road modes can be viewed on the site for a better understanding.
