Decades later, it has introduced the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex, and it feels as though the company never faced those earlier critical challenges.
Backed by updated ergonomics and a detachable rear cowl, Guerrilla 450 Apex has emerged as a dream bike for many, despite its higher price point. While there is no change to its liquid-cooled engine mechanism, deeper integration with Google Maps and the inclusion of broader tires rightfully make it a desirable icon in the segment.
Features of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex features forward-leaning ergonomics and allows the rider to remove the rear cowl. The objective is to customize the bike for a more aggressive, sporty look. It runs on 17-inch Vredestein Centauro ST+ tires. While taking turns may have been challenging in earlier years, Royal Enfield has clearly resolved to improve this aspect.
Guerrilla 450 Apex comes with two modes: Sport and Street. Switching between these modes is convenient, as the digital dashboard is a core part of the aluminum handlebar.

The company has moved ahead with its 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine, which produces 40 PS and 40 Nm of torque. The idle RPM is defined at 1,300 for the 6-speed gearbox, and the engine requires 10W-40 API SN, JASO MA2, semi-synthetic oil. The front and rear suspensions consist of 43mm telescopic forks and a linkage-type mono-shock, respectively.
