The European market will soon welcome IONIQ 3 by Hyundai Motor. Alternatively known as Aero Hatch, IONIQ 3 will also mark the debut of Pleos Connect. This infotainment system is reportedly built on AAOS (Android Automotive OS). Hyundai’s teaser highlights the vehicle as a combination of electric mobility, advanced features, and a design deeply rooted in the philosophy of the "Art of Steel."

Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, has shed light on IONIQ 3’s aerodynamics, practicality, and intuitive nature. Built on the E-GMP platform, the two battery options are expected to drive significant momentum following the launch.
Specifications of Hyundai Motor IONIQ 3 Aero Hatch
IONIQ 3 boasts several noteworthy specifications. Key highlights include a drag coefficient of 0.263 and two distinct battery choices. The Standard Range option offers 344 km, while the Long Range option extends travel up to 496 km. Its impressive drag coefficient is precisely what earned it the nickname "Aero Hatch."
The vehicle supports both DC and AC charging, allowing drivers to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 29 minutes. Naturally, actual charging times may vary based on external factors.
Designed for everyday European usability, Aero Hatch utilizes the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). As a debutant feature, Pleos Connect runs on Android Automotive OS (AAOS) to provide intuitive displays and enhanced connectivity.
Safety and convenience are prioritized through Hyundai SmartSense, which includes Remote Smart Parking Assist, Highway Driving Assist, and Blind-Spot View Monitor. The vehicle also offers a comfortable driving experience with a 5-seat layout and a 441-liter trunk capacity.
Technical Details of Hyundai IONIQ 3
Hyundai claims IONIQ 3 can reach a top speed of 170 km/h. Its acceleration performance (0-100 km/h) is 9 seconds for the Standard Range and 9.6 seconds for the Long Range. The Standard Range features a 42.2 kWh battery, while the Long Range utilizes a 61 kWh battery.
As a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) model, Aero Hatch delivers a motor output of 107.8 kW (147 PS) and 99.5 kW (135 PS).

IONIQ 3 produces a maximum torque of 250 Nm, with a curb weight ranging from 1,550 kg to 1,580 kg. The 441-liter storage space is partitioned into a 322-liter trunk and a 119-liter Megabox.
While pricing details are yet to be announced, Hyundai has confirmed the following color palette:
Exterior - Atlas White Solid, Phantom Black Pearl, Lumen Gray Pearl, Aurora Gray Pearl, Vibrant Blue Pearl, Ice Blue Pearl, Fierce Red Solid, and Fierce Red Matte.
Interior - Black, Beige / Gray, Blue / Gray, and Black + Red accents (N Line).
