Also in the news is the Rogue SUV. The car is teased to have five seats with compatibility for every possible terrain. Spoiler alert: the Nissan Rogue comes with an option of AWD or FWD drivetrain.

Nissan Trimming its Lineup

Ivan has plans to bring Nissan back to life. An initial step is to streamline the company's portfolio. This entails reducing the offerings from 56 to 45. The global streamlining is targeting only those models that are not performing well. Nissan will make these cuts worldwide as part of a long-term strategy.

Known as the fourth-largest automaker in Japan, Nissan will simultaneously aim to boost its sales figures. The timeline at the moment has been drawn to 2030. The annual sales target is set to one million each in the US and China. In its domestic region, Nissan is aiming to raise the number to 550,000 during the same timeframe.

Nissan Rogue SUV

Nissan could deploy its AI initiative to almost 90% of its automobile lineup. Meanwhile, sharing the spotlight is the Rogue SUV, which was first introduced in 2007. The latest version apparently lives up to its reputation of providing a comfortable cabin for five people. At the center is the option to choose AWD or FWD, with prices starting from $29,490.

The 1.5 VC-Turbo engine runs on 201 horsepower. The Rogue SUV features a total of five drive modes—namely Auto, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Off-Road - where Auto, Eco, and Sport are standard modes. The remaining modes come with the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. Nissan’s SUV lets its driver carry luggage in 74.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

A panoramic moonroof lets passengers enjoy not just the side view but also the view above, which is especially fascinating for children. The 12.3-inch entertainment unit is completely touch-based and efficiently handles the Bose Premium Audio System.

The driver can link it to the MyNissan App for a better experience. The mobile application by Nissan helps drivers find their cars, check their status, and do much more, such as remote engine starting.
