Come New Year, many people will dig into the usuals like making a resolution, going out for a party, or cracking a lame joke about seeing friends after one year. Automobile lovers, however, may have a different plan altogether. Kia unveiled Kia Syros on December 19, 2024, and is all set to open booking for its SUV on January 03, 2025. It was a world premiere where everyone was introduced to what Kia has defined as a statement of progress, among other tags.
A total of three features are highlighted by Kia on its site. These are ADA Level with 16 autonomous safety features, dual-panel panoramic sunroof, and OTA software updates along with Kia Remote Diagnostics. While the carmaker didn’t prioritize showcasing the first-in-segment offering of second-row seat decline, it managed to grab a lot of attention based on other features.
The company is making a remark with its signature Tiger Face and will very much continue featuring shark fin antenna for a seamless flow. Futuristic LED headlamps take a call on its power as Kia brings in another first-in-the-segment offering of streamlined door handles. It pretty much stays hidden, or camouflaged if you will, requiring customers to look twice if they are unfamiliar with it.
Driving and navigating the unknown path is supported by a 76.2 cm Trinity Panoramic display panel. More of what it brings is a combination of control and entertainment. Take it up a notch with the Harman Kardon Premium 8 speakers sound system.

Models of other automobile companies may be seen having a beeping sound as a seatbelt alarm. Kia Syros has integrated a 3-point seatbelt display reminder somewhere at the below-left corner. Tyre pressure can be monitored for every tire individually. The dashboard displays the pressure and signals when the level is too low, or below the expected margin.
Kia Syros brings 6 standard airbags to guard drivers and passengers against unfortunate events. Lane Keep Assist is powered by steering assistance. It essentially keeps the car within the same lane.
Most importantly, Kia Syros comes with two different engines - D1.5 CRDi VGT Diesel Engine and G1.0 T-GDi Petrol Engine. The power and torque for the diesel engine are 116 PS and 250 Nm, respectively. The same for the petrol engine are 120 PS and 172 Nm, applicable in the same order.

Kia Syros has six trims available, or six versions, once bookings open in the first week of January next year. These are HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O).
Features of Kia Syros will certainly differ based on the variant a customer purchases and so will the price. The SUV is expected to be sold within the range of ₹9 lacs and ₹16 lacs. The actual amount, or the final price, will depend on a customer’s location, accessories added to the model, and taxes applicable.
