Key Highlights
Swiggy has launched Pyng app in Bengaluru.
Pyng is a marketplace where users can find a verified professional service provider.
It has more than 1000 experts from over 100 specializations.
It could be difficult to get the best professional service in a fast-paced modern life. Marketplaces like Urban Company and Justdial, therefore, have been existing for some time now. But, they are now likely to face some competition with the entry of Pyng App.

Pyng App is offered by Swiggy - the same venture that provides food and grocery delivery services to its customers. The company has ventured into a new segment to provide a quick and seamless way to search for different professionals.
Pyng App by Swiggy
Launched by Swiggy earlier this year, that is 2025, Pyng promises to list only verified service providers offering different services. It has already listed over a thousand verified professionals belonging to more than a hundred specialized areas. This includes yoga experts, fitness trainers, event planners, developers, and career coaches, among others.
What differentiates Pyng by Swiggy from others in the market is its variety of tech offerings like AI-powered search, a spam-free environment, and verification of professionals. According to Nandan Reddy, Co-Founder of Swiggy & the Head of Innovation at Swiggy, Pyng brings a structure to the latent needs of customers by helping them to connect with experts who deliver real values.
Another differentiating factor is Money-Back Guarantee. Pyng has committed that it would refund payments if users are not satisfied with the service. This could be a promotional offer to test the platform and compensate users for bad experiences. Nevertheless, it has grabbed eyeballs and continues to onboard service experts and customers on the platform. As for the AI-powered functionality, it makes it convenient for users to browse the service expert based on their specific needs.
AI Integration
AI integration into Pyng by Swiggy is just one of the many examples of how Artificial Intelligence is helping companies deliver value to their customers. For instance, Netflix is reportedly testing OpenAI to broadly offer AI-powered search features to its users. If true, then this marks a significant shift from a traditional method to a modern method that is more intuitive and more personalized.

Interestingly, Zomato launched Nugget in February 2025. Nugget is a no-cost AI customer support platform. Rival to Swiggy in the food delivery segment, Zomato chose to integrate AI in a manner that serves corporations more than its customers. Swiggy, on the other hand, decided to continue serving customers even with a new entrepreneurial arm.
What's Next?
There is no competition between Zomato’s Nugget and Swiggy’s Pyng. But, it is wonderful to see both of them choose different directions with AI integration. Pyng app is live in Bengaluru with more than a thousand service providers from over a hundred specializations. Swiggy will go for a mass rollout if the response remains strong and more experts plus customers express their interest.
