:::The Supreme Court's bench of Justices D Y Chandrachud and B V Nagarathna dismissed the application of Supertech to stop the demolition of their property. The company argued that it had an alternative plan to save crores of rupees from getting wasted. It added that the alternative plan would also be beneficial for the environment.
Supertech approached the Supreme Court after the demolition was ordered over the grave illegalities that were observed as of August 31, 2021.
:::Mansukh Mandaviya, the Health Minister of India, launched i-Drone in Manipur. It is short for ICMR's Drone Response and Outreach in North East. i-Drone will aid the supply of crucial medicines in rural areas. It can cover a distance of 15 kilometers in a maximum of 15 minutes. The project is led by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It has been approved in Nagaland and Andaman & Nicobar as well.
The launch of i-Drone has marked the first step of the government in delivering the Covid-19 vaccine in remote areas.

:::The National Asset Reconstruction Company (NARCL) received a license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The central bank approved the allotment of the license under section 3 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets & Enforcement of Security Interest Act. NARCL is now allowed to buy stressed assets from banks and other lenders against part payment in cash and securities receipt.
The news was announced by Sunil Mehta, the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
:::A case was registered against 36 teachers by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police. These teachers had reportedly used fake certificates of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to secure their jobs in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). The teachers who are facing the cases against them had also used roll numbers that were either fake or belonged to successful candidates.
CID has registered the case against them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for criminal conspiracy, forgery, and cheating.

:::CoinSwitch, a Bengaluru-based start-up, became a unicorn. The start-up achieved this mark after it onboarded 1 crore users and raised $260 million in Series-C funding. The company has committed to invest funds in people and products to accelerate its growth.
CoinSwitch is backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Coinbase Ventures. It now stands tall at the market valuation of $1.9 billion.
:::Justin Bieber, an American singer, partnered with Palms, a Los Angeles-based cannabis company. He launched Peaches in partnership with the cannabis company. Peaches is a product that falls in the category of pre-rolled joints.
The partnership aims to create a brand that spreads awareness about the recreational consumption of cannabis products.

:::Anshu Malik, a wrestler, qualified for the final stage of the World Championship in the 57 kilograms category. He reached the final stage of the championship after defeating Ukraine's Solomia Vynmyk by 11-0 through technical superiority. She is now the first Indian woman to reach the final stage of the World Championship in the 57 Kilograms category.
Anshu Malik is a 20-year young wrestler who has previously won 2 medals at Asian Championship.
:::Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, inaugurated 35 Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) oxygen plants. The inaugural event was held at the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. The PSAs have been established across 35 states and union territories under the PM CARES Fund. This is expected to meet the growing demand for liquid oxygen for medical purposes.
Narendra Modi said that this was a step in strengthening India's medical infrastructure so that no one faces a crisis of oxygen.

:::The term batsman will reportedly be replaced with batter with the initiation of the men's T20 World Cup 2021. The announcement was made by Marylebone Cricket Club. The club has committed to implement the changes in the Laws of Cricket as well.
The term batter is gender-neutral and ICC has described it as an overdue evolution in cricket.
:::MobiKwik received approval from the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ₹1,900 crores. The digital payment platform is expected to launch its IPO in the next 14 days. MobiKwik expects to raise ₹1,500 crores through the primary sale of its shares.
The company is looking to cross the market valuation of ₹12,700 crores after launching its IPO in the market.
